Ionospheric layer as reflect waves on the long distance radio communication that uses F (High Frequency), has a few important characteristic, such as foF2. The ionospheric characteristic influenced by several local events such as solar activity, variation of earth magnetic field, location (latitude and longitude) and local time can influence radio communication. Because of that, characteristic pattern on one area is different of other area. If the ionospharic characteristic can be accurately high predicted, then early detection of the layer that influences radio communication can be done earlier. This paper is focused on ionospheric characteristic prediction limited by certain hours interval. The data comes from Stasiun Pengamat Dirgantara (SPD) Tanjungsari Sumedang, from 1997 till 2003. SPD Tanjungsari Sumedang was chosed cause of this SPD is relatively takes long time and nicely regulated on its observation of ionospheric layer. |
